What to expect
Camp Hancock preserves part of the military installation created during construction of the Northern Pacific Railroad. Its former headquarters now interprets local history, and the grounds include a railway locomotive and the Bread of Life Church. The outdoor signs make this a useful downtown history stop even when the buildings are closed.
