Delete your account
You can remove your Bismarck Loop account and everything tied to it at any time.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in to The Bismarck Loop on the website or in the app.
- Open My Loop and scroll to Delete my account.
- Tick the box to confirm and tap Delete my account.
It happens right away. There's no waiting period and no one needs to approve it.
What gets deleted
- Your account and email address
- How you signed in (email code or Google) and which devices were signed in
- Your home town, surrounding areas and any towns you asked us to add
- The kinds of events and businesses you follow, and your saved events
- Your weekly email signup, and any phone notification address
- Your private planning lists, alert preferences, local posting requests and local updates
- Your record of agreeing to the Terms
- Any host requests you made, and your approval as a host
- Your email address on any report you sent (the report itself is kept without your name)
What stays
Events and clubs you suggested and we published are listings about the event or group, not about you, so they stay up. Once your account is deleted they aren't tied to it, and a club submission doesn't keep your email. If you host a club you can pull its listing back from the host page before you delete your account. Email us if you want one taken down. Anonymous visit counts we keep for statistics don't identify you and can't be removed individually.
Can't sign in?
Email contact@bismarckloop.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll delete your account within 30 days. Read more in the Privacy page.
