The Walrus has been serving Bismarck from North 3rd Street since 1995, as a restaurant and pub with dozens of American craft beers on draft. The menu runs from burgers and handheld sandwiches to pastas, pizza and larger entrees, with a kids' menu for younger diners. It is owned by Jill Sanford, who is named on the restaurant's team page.

Before you head over
The restaurant lists hours of about 10:30 am to 9 pm most days, 10 pm on Friday and Saturday and 8 pm on Sunday, but it calls them a guideline and the kitchen can close early on a slow night. The menu does not label gluten-free or vegetarian dishes, so ask your server about dietary needs. Ordering ahead and catering are handled through its website.
