The local scoop
Anima Cucina has two personalities downtown on North 5th Street. By day it is an Italian café with coffee, house-made pastries, breakfast, schiacciata sandwiches, scratch soup, salads and rotisserie chicken. From late afternoon it turns into a pasta and wine bar with fresh pasta, charcuterie and entrees, and more than 60 wines by the glass from small family-owned producers.

Before you head over
The daytime café and the evening wine bar keep separate hours, and the kitchen closes an hour before the wine bar does, so read the hours on this page before you head out.
