12 Stones Coffee Co. is a coffee shop on Tacoma Avenue run by owners Troy and Dina Maas, who started the business in Hazen before opening in Bismarck. The name comes from the twelve stones in the book of Joshua, chapter 4. Its coffee is from Zephyr Coffee Roasters, and the menu pairs espresso drinks, such as the Aztec Mocha, with Black Hills bagels and a short food list.

Before you head over
The shop is in the New Life Church building on Tacoma Avenue and is closed on Mondays. Sunday hours are short, 8 to 11 am. Delivery goes through DoorDash, and the shop takes reservations for its meeting room.
