The local scoop
Fireflour began in 2012 as a pizza trailer run by Kenny and Kendra Howard and grew into a downtown restaurant on North 5th Street. The pizzas are Neapolitan-style, baked in a wood-fired oven hand-built in Naples, from dough that rests for 48 hours. A coffee bar is attached, and the visitors bureau notes that the gelato rotates.
