The local scoop
Coffee Break is the downtown coffee shop at Third and Main, and it has long been a morning stop for Bismarck first responders, who have left hundreds of patches there. In July 2026 local news reported that longtime owner Sia Ranjbar, who arrived in Bismarck in 1993, was retiring and handing the shop to new owner Ashley Anderst, a Mandan native.
